The 2018 San Diego Comic-Con International has arrived, and before you're bombarded by superheroes, super powers, and galaxies far, far away, the theme for the opening is HORROR!
And a lot of fantastic new projects are on the way.
If you were questioning James Wan's place in horror, you will find his place is more than secure with the majority of the high profile projects coming from Atomic Monster Productions.
Announced was the third installment of the "Annabelle" franchise. Though I am not the biggest fan of the franchise, I'm still glad the James Wan Universe is making profits and continuing the momentum. Also profiled is the upcoming "The Nun," which I'm super excited to see, and a new project based on the old Mexican folk tale La Llorona. I'm very interested in seeing footage of that film.
Shown as a preview for the upcoming "Godzilla: King Of The Monsters" was a teaser with "Stranger Things" actress Millie Bobby Brown. This film will be a precursor to the much awaited "Godzilla vs King Kong." Can't. Wait.
And one of the main projects that everyone is talking about is "It: Chapter II." Coming out in 2019, this is the follow-up to the massive hit film based on the classic Stephen King novel. I posted earlier on this site that the hype is indeed real, with spot on casting and great momentum from the previous installment. All eyes on "It." Warner Bros. is just killing it.
I hope everyone enjoys all of the previews from this world famous event and have a great Comic-Con week!

A Bewitching Talent (Happy Birthday Elizabeth Montgomery)
The Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actress Elizabeth Montgomery was born on April 15th 1933 and was a star of stage and screen spanning five decades. The daughter of actor Robert Montgomery, she appeared in her fathers television series "Robert Montgomery Presents" and even won a Theater World Award for her Broadway debut in "Late Love." But for many fans of classic television, she will forever be known as Samantha Stephens in the late '60's - '70's sitcom "Bewitched." "Bewitched" ended it's run in 1972 but I was very familiar with the show thanks to syndication. She was a lovely, charming presence onscreen and the show overall was just a pleasant treat for sitcom lovers. It never ceased to put a smile on your face and leave you feeling happy. After the shows run, she made some notable television movies. My favorite by FAR is her appearance as Lizzie Borden in 1975's "The Legend Of Lizzie Borden." Aside f...
